Weirder still cause I was definitely in her voicemail.

If you'd like. Again, apologies for wasting your time.

Makoto-sensei might like it, but I don't tend to do groups. I'm not very nice.

Suppose I would need your name first if I was to change it.
in_loveless_memory: (Yes this is Aoyagi)

It only makes sense if you know who Nietzsche is and considering the mishmash of worlds, I never assume anyone knows who he is.
in_loveless_memory: (Hmm...)

Yep, that's him. He's famously quoted for saying "God is dead" but it's more than that, the point is that "god is dead and we killed him" as a result of the Enlightenment and the triumph of scientific theory and thought. It's basically the rejection of universal and moral law. Though it's applied almost exclusively to Christian religion and the sects under it. He liked Buddhism just fine.

He admired the Greeks for one. He was particularly fond of Greek tragedy plays. According to some of the MANY things he said, myth, in some ways, was the expression of needs of the community.

There's a lot more but yeah, Nietzche had whole treatises on Greek myth and plays.

If they have his literature here, then yeah, I would recommend him. I like a lot of his philosophies. Though, if Greek gods are real in your world, freedom from the shadow of God is going to likely come across as foolish and he's not.

... Interesting. And it does that for speech too, I'm assuming, seeing as I didn't switch out of Japanese earlier and I still understood everyone who replied.

It does. Personal experience with that one. I'm from Japan as well, just not anyone else's Japan, of that I'm sure.
