Yes, they do. Mercury, Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto all have guardian goddesses. Only Earth doesn't have one, that is why I watch over her. There are other guardians outside of solar system as well and some guardians from asteroids and moons as well.

She is, and there's a tenth planet as well, Nemesis. Nemesis sadly lacks a guardian.

Correct. Some are asleep, some planets have their powers in the hands of a man and thus a guardian goddess does not exist, some are not yet born.

Earth's powers are held by Prince Endymion. Or, well, King Endymion I suppose is his proper title now.

In Greek mythology, Endymion loved the moon goddess Selene.

I'm well aware. [She smiles, knowingly, and shifts from Sailor Moon to... well, Serenity.] He still does love her. Though it was my mother they mistakenly called Selene. I'm the one he will be marrying.

Oh, I quite agree. I never had children, and I certainly didn't put Endymion under any sort of sleeping spell. But I suspect that part of the tale is still some hatred for the Lunarian people.
