RIORDAN CHRONICLES

CANON POINT: Variable (am familiar up to The Chalice of the Gods)

BUILD: Thin, but muscular
HAIR: Black
EYES: Black
FEATURES: Nico is a fifteen-sixteen year old kid who stands at 5'5" and has black shaggy hair and black eyes. Nico has his mother's eyes, but it has also been said that he has the wild glint of a madman too, just like his father. Nico's hands are "as cold as ice." Having been born to an Italian woman, he's described as having olive skin tone though may appear a bit pale. He's has an extremely skinny build, but underneath his all black clothing he is actually quite tone from all the training he's done with a sword. There are scars on his upper arms that look as if he was first attacked by a very large wolf or bear, then the wounds were stitched back together like a bad Frankenstein job.
ATTIRE: Black. As black as black can get. Occasionally wears band shirts or anything undead and covers that with a black aviator jacket. When not wearing this jacket he can also be found wearing a black leather bomber jacket, a black trenchcoat, a customized Camp Half-Blood t-shirt or a black toga. He has a silver skull ring. Nico's black sword typically hangs from his left hip.

VOICE: Nico's voice is often quiet, soft and possibly hints at various voice changes thanks to puberty, but only when extremely stressed.
ORIGINS: Nico is the youngest son of the Greek god Hades, and a mortal woman. He was born in Italy in the 1930s, but a prophecy resulted in his mother's death by Zeus' hands and his father placed him and his sister in a hotel where people never age for 70 years. Nico was pulled out of the hotel in the 2010s where he joined a camp with other Greek demigods. His older sister went on a quest that resulted in her death, and Nico discovered his godly heritage. Since then he has assisted Percy Jackson and other demigods in saving the world multiple times, including multiple trips to the deepest, darkest pits of Tartarus.

Also, it's important to note that a lot of his series was a published one in his world, and one of the early lines goes like this: "If you’re a normal kid, reading this because you think it’s fiction, great." So the books were canonly written to appear fictional to the majority of people, but from any demigod's point of view, it's real. If someone tries to point out that Nico is fictional, he will respond with "so you've read the books, then".
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: He doesn't like being touched by most people, there are few who can get away with it. Things like brief back pats would be acceptable. Nico doesn't really give a lot of touches in return.
ROMANCE: Canonly, he has a boyfriend and is 100% gay. However, I am willing to consider other relationships with a lot of CR (and provided Will isn't in game).
MINDREADING: Canonly, Nico has suffered through a great deal. He lost his mother when he was young around the 1940s and his father washed his memories away in the River Lethe. Then Nico proceeded to spend approximately 70 years old in a casino where no one ever grew up, they played games and couldn't discern the passage of time. When he was pulled out, the only person Nico could remember was his older sister, Bianca. He found out he was the son of the Greek god Hades, lost his sister and tried to bring her back. Nico is one individual who has seen nearly everything the Underworld has to offer (except a close-up look at the Isle of the Blessed) and has even been to Tartarus and back, twice. There's a lot. If your character has the ability to read minds or see history, let me know so I can provide more information.
EMPATHIC: Contact me for specific details, but generally know he is a sad boy with a great deal of emotional pain.
MANIPULATION: They can try, but the backlash on it could result in something extremely horrible happening to your character - so let's talk first.
FIGHTING: Fighting is fine and good, he's excellent at fighting and may even seek out sparring partners.
INJURY: I'd like to avoid limb-loss, anything else is fine.
KILLING: Let's plot first.
